U16 Match Report , St Brendans Park 6-2 Killarney Athletic

U16s opened campaign yesterday against park knowing they would be up against missing a few regulars on the day. 3-1 at half time and being reduced to 10 men with 30 minutes left made the boys’ challenge even harder but in true athletic fashion the boys battled on but were no match for park getting a consolation of a stunner of a freekick later on and parks keeper making some great saves to deny the lads. In the end losing 6-2 but onwards and upwards for a good rest of the season. Our man of the match on the day was Christian Casey
