U17 FAI Cup 3rd Round; Douglas Hall 2-0 Killarney Athletic

The under 17 went down 2-0 to a very strong Douglas Hall team on Sunday. Athletic missing influential players on the day but battled hard. Douglas Hall took the lead early on through a header using their height superiority to their advantage. Athletic had numerous chances but the Cork keeper was outstanding. In the final minute when Athletic went gung ho, Douglas scored on the counter attack. A great team performance and we will now concentrate on the Kerry league and cups.
