Athletic recorded their first win of the season with a hard earned win in Mastergeeha last Saturday, and it turned out to be a double as the A’s also won against the same opposition earlier in the day. Eric Moriarty and Ryan Neeson got Athletic’s goals but it was a great team performance with a special mention to the defence and keeper Aaron O’Connor who performed heroics in the final minutes to hold out for a great win.
