U13 Match Report ; Killarney Athletic 6-2 Tralee Dynamos

John Joe Naughton U13 Cup , Killarney Athletic A 6-2 Tralee Dynamos A 

Well done to our u 13 boys who have progressed to the next round of the U 13 kerry Cup following an excellent performance v Tralee Dynamos. Athletic raced into an early lead following 2 volleyed goals by Alex Hennigan. The back 4 of paddy Foley Oscar MC CARTHY Michi Lynch were defending well and well Marshalled by keeper Tom Benson. Dynamos pulled one goal back but Josh Coffey following a cool finish made the half time score 3-1. Dynamos started the second half well but our midfield were well on top with Neil ó Carroll and oisín Lynch especially prominent. A cracking shot from the excellent Tom Healy made it 4-1.Rocco Sheehan worked his socks off up front and Mathew Moynihan clever passing and link play. Dynamos pulled another goal back before Alec Hennigan with his hat trick made it 5-2.Cillian O Connor with his first goal for the Club with a clinical finish finished the scoring. This was an excellent display by an Athletic team missing players on the day against a tenacious Dynamos side. With 5 of the team u 12 this team is having a fine season and full credit to the work Manager Shane Foley has done with this young team. They now progress to round 2 of the Cup and there are 4 remaining games in the Premier U 13 league.
