Killarney Athletic 4-0 Ballyhar Dynamos

Athletic came up against one of the most organised teams in the league in Ferndale last Saturday. A win was required to ensure the league semi final away to Rattoo Rovers. Ballyhar threatened on the counter but a Tadhg Doolan 20 yard strike to the bottom corner of the net and a Tomas Cronin flick past the keeper gave the boys in blue a 2-0 half time lead. Athletic were never going to rest on their laurels and despite Ballyhar’s never say die attitude, Further goals from Liam Kelliher and Harry Potts ensured Athletic March on to the league semi final qualifying from the southern section. A big game away to Rattoo awaits. On a day when it was hard to choose a man of the match, we decided to pick the whole team as everyone played outstanding on the day. Well done to the blue army
