Killarney Athletic A.F.C would like to thank our sponsors the Killarney Credit Union, Scotts Hotel and all the teams who participated in the tournament and their sponsors. A big thank you to all the committee who helped throughout the tournament. To Colette Casey who helped to organise the tournament and to John O’Donoghue who helped with the fixtures, to Lorraine Fleming who organised the shop throughout the tournament and also organised the barbeque for the underage tournament. Also thanks to the local press, Radio Kerry and photographers for their fantastic coverage of the tournament. This year was a tremendous success and we look forward to your support again for next year.

Wednesday 30^th July

Under 14 Aston Vanilla 1 The Boys from Ballina 2

1 all at the full time whistle. The Boys from Ballina scored in extra time to make it 2 goals to 1. Liam Curran from The Boys from Ballina received the under 14 Player of the Tournament.

Over 35 Fleming’s Taxis 2 Bunkers 1

Scorers for Fleming’s Taxis were Donogh Barry & Vladamir and Paul Russell scored for Bunkers.

Premier Dunloe Lodge 1 Tatler Toffees 2

Scorer for Tatler Toffees was Brian Looney x 2 and John Healy scored for the Dunloe Lodge. Player of the Tournament was Brian Looney who received the Kieran Cahillane Memorial Perpetual Trophy.

John O’Brien received the Supporter Supreme award for all his support in the 7 A side tournament.

Tuesday 29^th July

Under 16 Bow Wow Panthers 1 O’Leary Expert 2

Underage Player of the tournament went to Niall Donohue. He received The Johnny Heffernan Memorial Shield.

Reserve Cup The Wedding Guru 1 Currow City 1

After full time and extra time the teams were still level. The game had to go to penalties to decide a winner. Currow City won 5 goals to 4 goals.
