A great win for our boys on Saturday last. In a game where we were slow out of the blocks, we went 1-0 down within ten minutes. In fact Castleisland were well on top and only for two super strikes close to half time form the edge of the box first from Aydan Mulvaney and then from Adam O'Shea we could have been starting the second half chasing the game. After a stern talking from the management at half time the boys started the second half taking control, upping the tempo and keeping possession a lot better than the first half. This paid off with two more quick goals and after that our boys kept possession and the opposition saw very little of the ball in the second half where four more goals were scored. Special mention to Shane Lyne who played very well in goal for the injured Johnny O’Leary. Goal scorers Adam O’Shea hat trick, Aydan Mulvaney 2, Dylan O’Sullivan, Paudie Clifford, and David Naughten. Man of the Match Adam O’Shea 3 goals and 4 assists.g the game.

Having gone in 2-1 down at the break with goals from Danny Cronin, Tadgh Doolan (2), Liam Kelliher and Eoin O’Donnell. Doolan and Kelliher played really well in mid field against a tough Ballyhar outfit.

Church Gate Collection: A huge thanks to all the people who helped with our annual church gate collection, and also thanks to everyone who contributed to the collection. A big thank you to Aaron & Sean who organised the collection.

Condolences: Sympathy is extended to Valerie& Eamon Courtney and to the extended Courtney family on the recent death of Eamon’s father Pat Courtney. Also Sympathy is extended to Sean O’Neill and family on their recent bereavement.

Parents & Players please note that there will be a Quiz night on in the Killarney Oaks on Friday 22^nd November 2013. All under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult. Lots of spot prizes on the night to be won.
