U17 Bow out of the Cup

The u17s went down 3-0 away to a very strong Rattoo Rovers in beautiful weather conditions despite the strong breeze in Ballyduff. This was a tired performance from Athletic as the majority of the team were playing minor football the previous night and it had taken its toll. Athletic will rue majority possession and numerous chances but credit to the Rattoo goalkeeper and defence who ensured there clean sheet. Athletic have 2 must win games remaining in the league to qualify for the league semi final. Training continues next Wednesday in Ferndale.
